The Marlin's Under the Radar 2019 Off-Season Moves

The Marlins were arguably in the toughest division last year in the NL East. With all the teams on the rise, its going to be difficult to compete this year.

This hasn't stopped the Marlins from quietly having a decent off-season. Additions like Closer Brandon Kintzler, infielders Jesus Aguilar and Jonathan Villar and Outfielder Corey Dickerson.

OF Corey Dickerson had 79 hits, 12 home runs, 59 RBI, and a .341 on base percentage in 2019 for the Pirates and Phillies. He was reportedly signed to a 2 year $17.5 million deal.

Closer Brandon Kintzler agreed to a one year 3.25 Million dollar deal. The 10 Year veteran had a 2.68 ERA in 57 innings in 62 appearances for the Cubs in 2019.

1B Jesus Aguliar is off a disappointing season with only 12 Home Runs after finishing in 2018 with 35 Home Runs. Hopefully the Fish get the 2018 production.

Last but not least is infielder Jonathan Villar, acquired from the Orioles in a December trade. Last year Villar hit 24 home runs with a .274 avg and a .339 on base percentage.
