The Marlins finished the Dodger series with a much needed offensive surge to avoid season sweep with a 13-7 win.
After being outscored 24-2 in the first two games of the series, the Marlins offense found its stride. Brian Anderson and Jorge Alfaro both finished with 3 hits and 3 RBI. Louis Brinson and Starling Castro also contributed 3 RBI.
Marlin's starter Caleb Smith dug down to outpitched Walker Buehler. Smith finshed the game with 5 innings and one earned run. Buehler got pulled in the 5th, starting a 6 run inning for the Fish.
