Following a tough series in New York, the Marlins get to enjoy a Monday off day fresh from a split against the N.L. East leaders the Atlanta Braves. The bats led the fish to victory in games 1 and 3. The pitching hasn't been as superb these last few weeks with many of new additions in the rotations except for Hernandez's great start. After being swept in New York, The Marlins needed this split before hosting the best team in MLB, the Dodgers.
Tuesday 7:10 the Marlins will have their work cut out for the Club, when Jordan Yamamoto (4-3, 4.17 ERA) face Clayton Kershaw (11-2, 2.77 ERA).
The Dodgers not only have excellent pitching, their line-up is also deadly with the likes of Cody Bellinger among others. The Marlin's will have to play near perfect baseball for the victory.
