Baseball Says Goodbye to Ichiro

After 3,089 Major League hits in a 19 year career, Ichiro Suzuki said goodbye to a Sold out crowd at the Tokyo Dome with his orginal squad the Seattle Mariners on Thursday.

Even though Ichrio wasn't much of a power hitter in MLB, he nonetheless won America's heart his Rookie year in 2001. In his first year he won both MVP and Rookie of the Year and led his team to the best record in Baseball. Ichiro would go on to have 200 hits every year until 2010 breaking Willie Keeler's record of 8 straight seasons.

Ichiro would go on to get his 3000th hit with our home town team the Miami Marlins in 2016. With Ichiro starting in the league at 27 years of age, it leads me to wonder what he could have done with a full career in MLB, Maybe 4000 hits?
