Miami Dolphins Surprise Injured Boca Football Player

Miles Levine is the senior captain for the football team at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton. Miles suffered a life-threatening head injury when he was tackled during the 4th quarter of his August 17th practice game.

Almost 3 weeks later, Miles is still in the hospital, but working hard to recover every day. At a time when he could use a pick me up most, the Miami Dolphins surprised him and his team with some very cool gifts.

Yesterday, Miles' brother and sister went to the high school to accept the special gift. The Miami Dolphins presented Miles with his very own framed jersey complete with his name and number 9 on it. They also spoiled the entire team with new cleats and equipment. Prior to this, Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake also visited Miles in the hospital to wish him a speedy recovery.

His brother spoke out sharing,

"It’s crazy to think how many people are putting their time and effort in allowing my brother to get better and be there for him and giving him the love and support that he needs to get better." -Owen Levine

Well it must be working! Miles' team of doctors said he is making a miraculous recovery unlike any they've ever seen before. He is set to be released from the hospital on Friday and is eager to attend his team's next home game where he will be cheering hard from the sidelines.
