A yearly tradition continues this morning in North Miami with Astoud Georges Benjamin celebrating his 106th birthday today.
His friends from North Miami's Golden Silver Seniors Program are throwing him another party.
"Every year he gets up. He dances with people. He walks around, so it's just a blessing for him to be able to be moving at such an age, and he has the dance moves to prove it," says City's Stephanie Zenon.
Benjamin, affectionately known as Papa, moved from Haiti to North Miami 23 years ago and has been active member of the Golden Silver Seniors Program for the past 10 years, starting at the age of 96!
He has 13 children, 19 grandkids, 40 great-grandchildren plus two great-great grandchildren, many of whom will be at this morning's celebration.
