Fort Pierce Police Chief Diane Hobley-Burney has tendered her resignation after a report laid out internal issues within the agency. They included things like low staffing numbers and inconsistent policies.

"In my opinion, the bullying...the intimidation. The horrible way employees were treated by her, or are treated by her."
The man, who claims to have worked closely with the chief, tells CBS 12 News that there was a lack of transparency as well.
Hobley-Burney has been police chief for the past ten years and she notes that she has committed herself to "fostering a strong foundation for the department that emphasized the voices of citizens and prioritized the safety of officers."
