A convicted killer is back in custody after mistakenly freed from a prison in Miami-Dade County. James Edward Daniels, 60, was arrested at a home in Reynolds, Georgia. He had been on the run for four days after being released by Miami-Dade Corrections due to a procedural error, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.
Daniels killed two people five years ago in the city of Opa-locka and was given four life sentences. A Reynolds City Council member, Timishea Price, was also arrested accused of helping Daniels hide out. No word when Daniels will be returned to Miami.
