The New York Giants may be targeting former Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart based on general manager Joe Schoen's teenage son's Instagram Story.

Carson Schoen, a high school football quarterback, re-shared Dart's post of his highlight film on his Instagram Story before switching his account to private, according to NFL analytics reporter Warren Sharp, who shared a screengrab of the post.

"Apparently Giants GM Joe Schoen’s son posted a Jaxson Dart highlight reel on IG this NFL Draft eve… and then set his account to private," Sharp wrote on his X account Wednesday (April 23), hours before the first-round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Dart, 21, recently gained momentum as the Giants' potential pick at No. 3 overall and acknowledged the possibility while discussing his Head & Shoulders partnership with the New York Post this week.

“It’s a historic and legendary organization to play for,” Dart said. “And all I can say is I’ll turn up the city and win a lot of games and win Super Bowls.”

Dart would be following in the footsteps of fellow former Ole Miss quarterback Eli Manning, who led the Giants to two Super Bowl victories during his 16 seasons with the franchise from 2004 to 2019. The 21-year-old led the Southeastern Conference with 4,279 passing yards, as well as ranking second in passing touchdowns with 29 (tied with LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier) in 2024.
