A St. Lucie County school bus aide is facing charges for inappropriately touching a 6-year old and exposing himself.
Port St. Lucie Police say 25-year old Antonio Devarous Fields was arrested on Monday for what a spokesperson describes as "a horrendous type of crime."
The investigation began in July when the child's mother reported that they mentioned the incident that allegedly happened in January. Fields is a family friend and was staying at the home of the child's grandmother at the time of the alleged crimes.
The school was notified that Fields is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 12 as well as lewd and lascivious exhibition on a young victim.
The school district says he has been removed from his duties and will be recommended for termination.
