Port St. Lucie Police are looking for a suspect who stole a minivan with a wheelchair-bound man inside.
The non-verbal man was found safe, along with the van.
The vehicle was stolen outside a convenience store on Bayshore Boulevard Monday afternoon.
A group home employee was driving the 55-year old wheelchair-dependent man and got out of the vehicle at the store. That's when someone got into the minivan and drove off with the group home resident still inside.
The suspect was caught on surveillance video. He's a white male with no shirt and light colored shorts, carrying a black duffle bag. The van was ditched a short time later.
The passenger was unharmed.
